Jessica Gal (violin) and Sergiu Popa (accordion) are a husband-and-wife team who have been playing together professionally since 2004. Both classically trained and adept at playing by ear, they offer a vast repertoire of music for all occasions, including international ‘café’ repertoire. Jessica and Sergiu are available for private parties, house concerts, weddings, cocktails, vernissages or corporate events.

They also offer packages for community or theme events, for example:

• Klezmer and Israeli music for Jewish weddings and bar / bat mitzvahs (with Isak Goldschneider or Mark Simons on clarinet);
• Traditional Irish / Scottish music (with Gord Fisch on guitar and vocals, and Irish step dancers upon request) for Irish weddings or St. Patrick’s Day parties;
• Traditional Hungarian folk and Gypsy music with guest dancers and singers from the Bokréta Folklore Ensemble.
• French chansonnier repertoire (ie. Édith Piaf, Aznavour, Brel), as well as tango, chacarera and bossa nova with singer / dancer Irem Bekter.
